Monroe County Medical Center will offer graduating high school seniors pursuing higher education two scholarships (as described below), providing the recipients remain a full-time student and maintain a C average.
Applicants for the first scholarship, $6,000 ($1,500 per year for four years), must be a resident of Monroe County who will graduate in May or who has completed their GED and will be pursuing a career in the medical field.
Applicants for the second scholarship, $4000 ($1,000 per year for four years), must be the child of an MCMC employee who will graduate in May/June or who has completed their GED and will be pursuing a career in the medical field (residence in Monroe County is not required).
Further information about the scholarships and requirements may be found in the scholarship application. The application can be obtained below, from MCMC Administration or from the Guidance Office at the Monroe County High School. Completed applications along with transcript (including ACT scores) must be returned to the Administration office no later than 4:00 p.m. on Monday, April 24, 2017.
