Performs duties essentially of personal care, which might be given to convalescent, chronically ill or disabled persons in their homes. Attempts in every possible way, in working with individuals and families, to assist them to assume responsibilities toward self-care. Responsible for keeping the home clean and safe for convalescent, chronically ill, disabled persons and family members. Helps the well family members to carry their share of the responsibilities and encourages the disabled member to participate in the life of the family, in so far as he/she is able.

Under the supervision of the Director of Nutritional Services, the Cafeteria Worker performs a variety of food services including serving food to employees and visitors and is also responsible for the clean-up and stocking of the cafeteria.

High school graduate or equivalent preferred but not required. Cafeteria experience preferred, ability to multi-task, good communication skills, dependable, excellent attitude.

Housekeeping Responsibilities include routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing station, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, and corridors in a clean, neat and sanitary manner.

Laundry Responsibilities include monitoring laundering machines to clean articles such as sheets, towels, rags, wiping cloths and filter cloths. Sorts dried articles. Folds and places items on linen carts.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
