Thank you for visiting the Pharmacy department page. We are available 7 am - 7 pm Monday - Friday and 8am - 12 pm on Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays. We are staffed with 7 full and part time employees.
Responsibilities and Purpose
The pharmacy department provides medications (and relevant education) ordered by a licensed physician to the patients at MCMC. We work with these physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal treatment to our patients.
Though you may not see us during your visit to the hospital, the MCMC Pharmacy Team is diligently at work to ensure that your visit is a safe and effective one.
How you can help?
One of the things you can do to help in this process is to always be aware of what medications you are taking. This may mean simply carrying a list of medications in your wallet or actually bringing your prescriptions with you to the hospital. Remember to include herbals and over-the-counter medications. It is also very important that you tell your physicians, nurses, and pharmacist about any adverse or allergic reactions you have had to any medication.
